The 68th Annual Tri-Service Dental Symposium will take place from April 21–25 in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Tokyo, Japan. Hosted by the United States Army, this premier event unites dental professionals from the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Japan Self Defense-Force to advance oral health readiness and operational excellence across the services.
This year’s theme, “Mission-Ready Dentistry: Building Expertise for Operational Excellence,” focuses on the critical skills and tasks that military dentists must master to support the unique demands of deployed and operational environments. The symposium will highlight the importance of proficiency in these essential tasks, which are vital to ensuring the health and readiness of service members in any setting.
Through lecture, panel discussions, and hands-on training sessions, the event will foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing among tri-service dental professionals. Participants will explore strategies to enhance their capabilities, adapt to diverse challenges, and deliver high-quality care that supports both mission success and patient well-being.
